Description
This product is a basic 16 character by 2 line LCD display. It has white text on a blue background, with white LED backlight. This display utilises the extremely common HD44780/ST7066 parallel interface chipset. Plenty of interface code is freely available on the internet and we provide free example code compatible with our Microchip PIC24 development boards. You need either 7 or 11 general I/O pins to interface to this LCD screen, depending on the operating mode you select (in software). Includes LED backlight.
